About this service
BisouBisou™ is the name used for the French-learning service at bisoubisou.net. References to BisouBisou in these terms identify the service and brand, not a separately incorporated company. For questions, complaints or requests, contact hello@bisoubisou.net. The trademark symbol does not assert that the name is registered.
Access and accounts
The current service is free and requires no payment card. Keep your sign-in details confidential, provide accurate account information and notify us of suspected unauthorised access. Use the service only if you can validly agree to these terms under the laws applicable to you. Where parental or guardian authorisation is required, obtain it before creating an account.
Learning materials and results
Lessons, diagnostic questions, practice plans and feedback support independent learning. A suggested level is indicative and is not a CEFR certificate. Guided writing includes self-review, not a promise of teacher correction. No particular proficiency, examination result or learning time is guaranteed. Audio recordings may have their own attribution and licence notices.
Permitted use
You may use the service and its materials for personal learning. Do not share credentials, interfere with availability, attempt to access another person’s data, bypass access controls, submit unlawful material or reproduce and resell proprietary course material without permission. Rights expressly granted by an identified open licence remain available.
Your writing and reports
You retain your rights in writing and other content you submit. You permit the processing and storage needed to save your work, display it to you, provide the requested functions and investigate reports. Do not submit confidential information about others or material you have no right to use. Submission does not by itself authorise public publication of your work.
Availability and changes
Features and course materials may be corrected or changed. We aim to maintain access but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security incidents or legal requirements. Where practicable, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to contact us. Any future paid offer will have separately disclosed prices and terms; use of the current free service does not authorise a charge.
Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee that it will meet every learner’s needs. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. You should retain a separate copy of work that is important to you.
Ending use and complaints
You may stop using the service at any time. To request account closure, a copy of your personal data or correction of an issue, write to hello@bisoubisou.net from your account email. We may need to verify your identity without requesting your password. A request is not treated as completed until its handling has been confirmed.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The competent courts of the United Arab Emirates may hear disputes, subject to any mandatory rules on jurisdiction and rights that apply to you. This choice does not deprive you of protections that cannot be waived under applicable law. Please first contact hello@bisoubisou.net so that we can try to resolve the issue.
Updates
The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be presented through the service or an appropriate account notice. Where a change requires consent under applicable law, continued use alone will not replace that consent.
