Is BisouBisou free?

The current version is free to use. You can create an account without a payment card.

What levels can I study?

There are 123 published lessons: A0 (23), A1 (30), A2 (30), B1 (20) and B2 (20). B1 and B2 are a first edition being expanded; completing these lessons is not a CEFR qualification.

Do I need to speak Russian?

No. Choose English for explanations and the interface. French remains the language you practise.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes, in your browser or from a home-screen shortcut. Lessons and progress need an internet connection.

Is my pronunciation graded automatically?

No. Speaking prompts are for self-guided practice and self-assessment. BisouBisou does not score pronunciation automatically.

How does vocabulary review work?

Words and structures come back for review at spaced intervals rather than immediately after the lesson, so that you recall them days and weeks later.

Does BisouBisou prepare for the DELF exam?

No. BisouBisou issues no certificate and runs no DELF or DALF examination. CEFR levels are given as a guide to the content, not as a qualification.
